Why teams buy through us

The licence is the easy part. We handle everything around it.

Anyone can hand you a Google Workspace subscription. Work Ridge gives you the migration plan, the DNS work, the admin policy and the escalation path — bundled into the same relationship, with no extra project fee.

Better value than buying direct

Reseller agreements let us structure your licence mix so you aren't paying for tiers your team never touches. We audit seat usage every quarter and right-size before renewal instead of after it.

Quarterly licence audit included

Migration handled end to end

Mail, calendars, contacts, shared drives and permissions move across from Microsoft 365, legacy Gmail, Zimbra or an IMAP host. We run it in waves, out of hours, with a rollback plan you never need.

Weekend and overnight cutovers

Deliverability configured properly

SPF, DKIM and DMARC published and validated, alignment tested against the major mailbox providers, and a staged move to an enforcing policy so your invoices and sales mail land in the inbox.

SPF · DKIM · DMARC · MTA-STS

24/7 human support

Real engineers on chat, email and phone at any hour — not a chatbot loop and not a queue behind ten thousand other tenants. Named account manager, direct escalation into Google when it's needed.

Why buy through a reseller

Same Google Workspace. A partner standing behind it.

Buying direct gives you a licence and a help centre article. Buying through an authorized reseller gives you people who know your domain, your DNS, your legacy mail server and the name of the person who signs off on invoices.

01

Migration from Microsoft 365 or Gmail

We move mail, calendars, contacts and files from Exchange Online, on-premises Exchange, legacy Gmail tenants, Zimbra, Rackspace, cPanel and generic IMAP. Folder structure, read state and sent items come across intact, and we run a delta sync after cutover so nothing that arrived mid-migration goes missing.

02

Admin console configured for how you work

Organisational units mirrored to your real reporting lines, groups and aliases built out, sharing rules set deliberately rather than left at default, delegated admin roles scoped tightly, and a written handover so your IT lead knows exactly what was changed and why.

03

Deliverability that survives an audit

Correct SPF with a single flattened record, DKIM signing enabled and verified at 2048-bit, DMARC introduced at monitoring and moved to enforcement once reports are clean, plus MTA-STS and TLS reporting. We check alignment for every sending tool you use, including your CRM and invoicing platform.

04

Gemini AI in Workspace, enabled safely

We turn on Gemini for the right organisational units, brief your team on where it helps in Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet, and set the data governance controls first — so the AI rollout doesn't become the thing your legal team blocks three weeks later.

05

Local billing and clean invoicing

One consolidated invoice in your currency and your billing cycle, with purchase order references, cost-centre splits and tax documentation your finance team can file without a follow-up email. Add or remove seats mid-term and see it reconciled on the next statement.

06

A dedicated account manager

One named person who knows your environment, joins your quarterly review, flags licence waste before renewal and escalates into Google's partner channels when a ticket needs to move faster than the standard queue. Not a rotating pool of first-line agents.

How it works

Three steps from first email to fully migrated

Most teams under 200 seats are live within a week of signing. Larger or more complex environments get a phased plan with dates agreed up front.

1

Scoping call and quote

Tell us your headcount, current mail platform, domains and anything unusual — shared mailboxes, distribution lists, a mail-enabled application, a domain you inherited. We come back with an edition mix, a migration approach and a written quote, usually within one business day.

Typically 30 minutes
2

Build, migrate, cut over

We provision the tenant, verify domains, build the OU and group structure, pre-stage mailbox data while you keep working, then cut MX over in a scheduled window. Users keep their address, their history and their calendar invites. Rollback stays available throughout.

Out-of-hours windows available
3

Support, review, optimise

Day-one floorwalking and a short training session, then 24/7 support for as long as you're with us. Your account manager runs a quarterly review covering licence usage, security posture, DMARC reports and anything new in Workspace worth turning on.

Quarterly business reviews

Migration

A cutover your team barely notices

Migrations go wrong in predictable ways: missing shared mailboxes, broken calendar invites, a forgotten application that was relaying mail through the old server. We plan for those before the first byte moves.

  • Full discovery firstWe inventory every mailbox, alias, distribution list, shared calendar, resource room and mail-sending application before proposing dates.
  • Pre-staged data, short cutoverHistoric mail and files copy across in the background over days. The actual MX switch is minutes, not an all-weekend outage.
  • Wave-based rolloutPilot group first, then department by department, so a surprise is contained to ten people rather than the whole company.
  • Delta sync and verificationAfter cutover we re-sync anything that landed on the old platform, then reconcile item counts per mailbox and share the report.
  • Coexistence when you need itRunning two platforms during a merger or a long transition? We configure split delivery and calendar interop so both sides see free/busy.
Sample plan · 148 seats Wave 3 of 4
  • Day 1–2 Discovery and tenant build Mailbox inventory, domain verification, OU and group structure, admin roles assigned.
  • Day 3–5 DNS and deliverability prep SPF authored, DKIM keys generated, DMARC published at monitoring, TTLs lowered ahead of cutover.
  • Day 5–9 Background data copy Historic mail, calendars, contacts and Drive content pre-staged while the old platform stays live.
  • Day 10 MX cutover window Scheduled out of hours. Pilot wave verified first, then remaining users released in batches.
  • Day 11–14 Delta sync, training, handover Final sync, floorwalking session, admin documentation pack and DMARC enforcement scheduled.

Security & deliverability

Configured to keep mail out of spam and data out of the wrong hands

Default settings are built for the average tenant. Yours isn't average. We set authentication, access and data controls deliberately, then document every change we made.

SPF, DKIM & DMARC

Authentication published, validated and monitored. We start DMARC at monitoring, read the aggregate reports, fix every legitimate sender that fails alignment, then move you to quarantine and enforcement.

2-Step Verification enforced

Rolled out with a grace period, security keys or passkeys for admins and finance, backup codes distributed properly, and enforcement reporting so you can see who is still outstanding before the deadline.

Data loss prevention

DLP rules for Gmail and Drive that catch card numbers, identity documents and confidential file patterns before they leave the organisation — tuned to your business so alerts stay meaningful.

Admin controls & audit

Least-privilege admin roles, context-aware access, endpoint management for company devices, alert centre routing to the right inbox, and retention policies configured to your legal requirements.

  • Your account manager is on the thread for anything above routine.
  • Partner-level escalation into Google when a case needs to move.
  • End-user help too, not just admins — we'll walk your staff through it.
  • Onboarding sessions for new hires included as your team grows.

Customer stories

What teams say after the dust settles

We moved 190 people off Microsoft 365 on a Friday night and had precisely two support tickets on Monday, both about signatures. Work Ridge found three mail-relaying applications our own IT inventory had missed, which is the only reason it went that smoothly.

Rhian MabbottHead of IT, Northline Labs

Our quotes were landing in spam for a year and nobody could tell us why. Work Ridge rebuilt SPF, turned on DKIM properly and walked DMARC up to enforcement over six weeks. Reply rates recovered before the project was even finished.

Delphine OkonjoOperations Director, Calder & Vane

We're a 40-person practice with no internal IT. Having a named engineer who knows our setup, answers on a Sunday and handles the Google side of anything hard has been worth far more than the licence itself.

FAQ

Questions we get asked every week

Request a quote and we'll share pricing tailored to your team size, edition mix and commitment term. Because we're an authorized reseller, the quote covers licensing plus migration, configuration and 24/7 support in one figure — there's no separate professional services bill for a standard rollout.

No. You keep your domain and every existing address, including aliases and distribution lists. We migrate historic mail with folder structure, read state, flags and sent items intact, along with calendars, contacts and shared files. After the cutover we run a delta sync and reconcile item counts per mailbox so you can see nothing was left behind.

Effectively none. Historic data is pre-staged in the background while your current platform stays live, so the only sensitive moment is the MX record change — typically a few minutes, scheduled out of hours. Mail sent during propagation is queued and delivered, not lost. For larger environments we migrate in waves so any surprise affects one department rather than the whole company.

Yes, and most of our customers do. Field and frontline staff often sit happily on Business Starter while finance, legal and leadership need Business Plus for Vault and retention. We map departments to editions during scoping, handle the licence assignment in the admin console, and revisit the mix at every quarterly review so you aren't paying for capability nobody uses.

We're an independent company and an authorized Google Workspace reseller — not Google, and not part of Google. Google builds and operates the product; we're licensed to sell it, provision your tenant, configure it, migrate you onto it and support you afterwards. You get the identical Google Workspace service, delivered and looked after by a partner you can call by name.

Support runs for the life of the agreement, 24/7, for admins and end users alike. You get a named account manager, a quarterly review covering licence usage, security posture and DMARC reports, onboarding help for new hires, and partner-level escalation into Google when a case needs to move faster than the standard queue. Adding or removing seats mid-term is a message to us, not a support ticket you file yourself.
